Welcome on arrival by Oranta Holidays Representative at Colombo Airport…. then travel to your hotel in Kandy, visiting Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala and the Zoological garden. Settle in at your hotel in Kandy by afternoon and relax. Later proceed to visit City of Kandy. You may visit tooth relic temple in Kandy which is a UNESCO world heritage site and then the city tour including a Gem museum and an Arts and crafts center, ending the day witnessing a Cultural dance performance with traditional drummers, demon dancers, fire-eaters and fire-walkers stealing the show and your breath, which Kandy is renowned for. Kandy is an exciting place for shopping with souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, Ebony and bronze, Ceramics, lacquer work, hand looms, batiks and world famous exceptional kinds of Gems and jewellaries. .

After breakfast at hotel travel to Nuwara eliya mountain region, visiting on the way a Tea Factory/Plantation, Ramboda water fall and Sri Bhaktha hanuman temple. Settle in at the hotel by noon, and later conduct a sightseeing tour in the city. Thereafter spend your evening at leisure. .

After breakfast travel to Bentota, the famous south-west tourist village and beach, visiting on the way, the famous water rafting village in Kitulgala. Thereafter spend your evening at leisure on the beach .

After breakfast, travel to historic city of Galle to visit the Dutch fort (a UNESCO world heritage site) and the Hikkaduwa tourist village. On your return to Bentota, at Balapitiya enjoy a river cruise for 2 hours visiting few islands through the Madu Ganga Wetlands, one of the remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forest in Sri Lanka. Sail past traditional fishermen’s, farms and small cottages and visit a cinnamon farm before returning. Kosgoda Is a small village located in the west coast of Sri Lanka. It is most popular for its sea turtle hatcheries, operated by the Wildlife protection Society of Sri Lanka. Here you will feast your eyes upon the amazing site of many species of turtles, especially the endangered hawksbill, laying their eggs along the beaches. The many hatcheries that are operated locally provide a safe haven for these sea turtles. You may visit these hatcheries to have a look at many huge tanks filled with new born turtles who once grown, are released to the sea. On conclusion, return to hotel and spend your evening at leisure on the beach. .

After breakfast travel to Colombo (the major city of the Island) and enjoy the city visits….. You might also need to take part in some last minute shopping in to some famous boutique shops like “ODEL unlimited, House of Fashions, Cotton Collection, Majestic city mall”. Later, on time your chauffeur will drive you safely to Airport for the connecting flight for safe return journey home. .

CANCELLATION POLICY AND TERMS
Cancellation Policy:
JourneyBuds believes in helping its customers as far as
possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
In the event of cancellation of Tour / Travel
services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the
same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we
receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
* Airline/Train/Bus cancellation is as per
concerned airline/irctc/bus company policy.
* Minimum cancellation amount is INR 2500 per
adult once package is booked.
* For cancellations received 20 - 30 days prior
to tour: 25% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 10 - 20 days prior
to tour: 50% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 - 10 days prior
to tour: 75% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 days & less
prior to tour: 100% of land package amount
* Cancellation will vary during peak and super
peak seasons like Diwali, Christmas, New Year etc.
* JourneyBuds’ decision on cancellations will be
final.
* In case of Peak season hotel bookings a
separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when
required).
Some cancellation and refund policies are out of
our control:
* Refund for hotel payment will follow the
hotel’s cancellation policy
* Bus tickets cancellations will follow the Bus’s
policy
* Train tickets cancellations will follow the
Railway’s policy
* Flight tickets cancellations will follow the
airlines company policy
* In case you cancel the trip after
commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too
would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/
contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered
transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to
refund.
Our
Liabilities & Limitations:
Please note that after the finalization of
the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments /
museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt. of India, the same would
be charged as extra.
Law &
Jurisdiction:
For all complaints, suits, claims or
disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by JourneyBuds,
will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Guwahati.
